The Maharashtra State CET exam will be conducted twice a year from 2026 onwards, announced by the Commissioner of MHT CET Cell. The first attempt will be conducted in April and the second in May. The exact MHT CET 2026 exam date for both sessions will be announced soon. MHT CET 2026 notification with all exam details will be released soon on the website cetcell.mahacet.org.
महाराष्ट्र राज्य सीईटी परीक्षा २०२६ पासून वर्षातून दोनदा घेतली जाईल, अशी घोषणा एमएचटी सीईटी सेलच्या आयुक्तांनी केली आहे. पहिली परीक्षा एप्रिलमध्ये आणि दुसरी परीक्षा मे मध्ये घेतला जाईल. दोन्ही सत्रांसाठी एमएचटी सीईटी २०२६ परीक्षेची नेमकी तारीख लवकरच जाहीर केली जाईल. सर्व परीक्षेच्या तपशीलांसह एमएचटी सीईटी २०२६ ची अधिसूचना लवकरच cetcell.mahacet.org या वेबसाइटवर प्रसिद्ध केली जाईल.

1) Online Registration – Fill in your personal and academic details and upload the required documents.
2) Document Verification – Online as well as offline are available.

– MHT – CET scorecard
– JEE Scorecard
– Mark sheets (10th and 12th)
– Caste certificate and validity of caste (if applicable)
– Non creamy layer certificate (if applicable)
– Income certificate (Applicable only For income less than 8 lakh)
– Domicile certificate
– Passport-sized scanned photograph and scanned sign

Exam Pattern
The questions will be based on Syllabus of State Council Of Educational Research And Training, Maharashtra.
Approximately 20% weightage will be given to Std. XI curriculum and 80% weightage will be given to Std.XII curriculum while setting the question paper. Paper 1 and 2 are compulsory for taking admission to Engineering.
There will be no Negative Marking, however difficulty level will be at par with the JEE (Main) for Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry and difficulty level for Biology will be at par with NEET. The questions will be mainly application based.
MHT-CET will consist of 3 question papers of Multiple Choice Questions (MCQ) and each paper will be of 100 marks. Details are as given below :
