In Maharashtra, the online registration process for post-SSC Engineering, Technology, and Architecture diploma courses commenced on May 20, 2026.
महाराष्ट्रामध्ये, एसएससी नंतरच्या अभियांत्रिकी, तंत्रज्ञान आणि आर्किटेक्चर डिप्लोमा अभ्यासक्रमांसाठी ऑनलाइन नोंदणी प्रक्रिया २० मे २०२६ रोजी सुरू झाली आहे.

Online registration and application form filling began on May 20, 2026.
ऑनलाइन नोंदणी आणि अर्ज भरण्याची प्रक्रिया २० मे २०२६ रोजी सुरू झाली.
Application Portal:
Eligible candidates can apply and upload their documents through the official Directorate of Technical Education Maharashtra portal.
पात्र उमेदवार महाराष्ट्र तंत्रशिक्षण संचालनालयाच्या अधिकृत पोर्टलद्वारे अर्ज करू शकतात आणि आपली कागदपत्रे अपलोड करू शकतात.
Eligibility:
Candidates must have successfully passed the SSC (Class 10th) or equivalent examination with minimum required marks in Mathematics and Science.
उमेदवारांनी गणित आणि विज्ञान विषयात किमान आवश्यक गुणांसह एसएससी (इयत्ता १० वी) किंवा समकक्ष परीक्षा यशस्वीरित्या उत्तीर्ण केलेली असावी.

Online Registration:
Visit state’s DTE portal, create an account, and generate login credentials.
ऑनलाइन नोंदणी:
राज्याच्या DTE पोर्टलला भेट द्या, एक खाते तयार करा आणि लॉगिन क्रेडेन्शियल्स तयार करा.
Form Filling:
Enter your personal, academic, and category details.
अर्ज भरणे:
तुमचा वैयक्तिक, शैक्षणिक आणि प्रवर्गाचा तपशील भरा.
Document Upload:

Scan and upload necessary certificates-
Class ten-mark sheet,
Domicile, caste certificate (if applicable).

Important-
दहावीनंतर अभियांत्रिकी आणि तंत्रशिक्षणाकडे विद्यार्थ्यांसाठी वळणाऱ्या राज्यातील पॉलिटेक्निक प्रवेश प्रक्रिया दि. २० मे २०२६ पासून सुरू होत आहे.
ही प्रवेश प्रक्रिया सुरळीत पार पडावी यासाठी वेगवेगळ्या शहरात सुविधा केंद्रे उपलब्ध करून देण्यात आली आहेत. या सुविधा केंद्रांच्या माध्यमातून विद्यार्थ्यांना प्रवेश प्रक्रियेबाबत मार्गदर्शन करण्यात येणार आहे.
शैक्षणिक वर्ष २०२६-२७ करीता प्रथम वर्ष अभियांत्रिकी पदविका अभ्यासक्रमासाठी प्रवेश प्रकिया राबविली जात असून, या अंतर्गत विद्यार्थ्यांना २२ जूनपर्यंत मुदत देण्यात आली आहे.
इच्छुक विद्यार्थ्यांना https://poly 26.dtemaharashtra.gov.in या वेवसाइटवर ऑनलाइन नोंदणी करता येणार आहे.
या नोंदणीनंतर विद्यार्थ्यांना सादर केलल्या अर्जाची पडताळणी होईल.
या पडताळणीसाठी विद्याथ्यांना दोन पर्याय उपलब्ध करून देण्यात आले आहेत. ‘ई-स्क्रूटिनी’ पद्धतीने विद्यार्थ्यांना अर्जासह कागदपत्रे ऑनलाइन सबमीट करता येणार आहेत. अर्ज व कागदपत्रांच्या निश्चितीसाठी विद्यार्थ्यांला कोठेही जाण्याची गरज नाही.

ITI students (with a background in 10+2 Science or Vocational subjects) can get direct second-year admission to a diploma (polytechnic) in Maharashtra.
However, candidate cannot directly apply through a special “IIT quota.” Candidate must compete through the state’s regular lateral entry process.

Eligibility Criteria
To secure admission to the Direct Second Year (DSY) of a post-SSC Diploma in Engineering/Technology, you must meet the following baseline requirements set by the state:
एसएससी नंतरच्या अभियांत्रिकी/तंत्रज्ञान पदविका अभ्यासक्रमाच्या थेट द्वितीय वर्षात (DSY) प्रवेश मिळवण्यासाठी, उमेदवाराने राज्याने निर्धारित केलेल्या खालील मूलभूत आवश्यकता पूर्ण करणे आवश्यक आहे:
Basic Education:
Candidate must have successfully passed your 10+2 Science examination or possess a 2-year ITI certificate.
मूलभूत शिक्षण: उमेदवाराने १०+२ विज्ञान परीक्षा यशस्वीरित्या उत्तीर्ण केलेली असावी किंवा २ वर्षांचे आयटीआय प्रमाणपत्र असावे.
Required Subjects:
If candidate applied via 10+2, you must have passed your SSC (10th) with English, Mathematics, and Science.

Registration:

Since direct lateral entries into diploma programs are based on merit, admission is generally determined by your 12th standard or ITI percentage.
डिप्लोमा अभ्यासक्रमांमधील थेट प्रवेश गुणवत्तेवर आधारित असल्याने, प्रवेश सामान्यतः तुमच्या १२वीच्या किंवा आयटीआयच्या टक्केवारीनुसार ठरवला जातो.
Counselling (CAP):
Participate in the Centralized Admission Process (CAP) rounds to select your preferred polytechnic institutions across the state.

Important-
While student’s IIT background is a great academic asset. The student must still fulfill the standard state documentation (like Domicile if claiming state quotas) and complete the required DTE application process to be assigned a seat.
