All India Sainik School Entrance Exam 2026
National Testing Agency (NTA) will be conducting the All India Sainik Schools Entrance Examination (AISSEE) – 2026 at different centres located across the country in the month of January 2026.
राष्ट्रीय चाचणी संस्था (NTA) जानेवारी २०२६ मध्ये देशभरातील विविध केंद्रांवर अखिल भारतीय सैनिक शाळा प्रवेश परीक्षा (AISSEE) – २०२६ आयोजित करणार आहे.
Notification has been issued for online application for admission to Sainik Schools. Examinations are conducted for admission to Class VI (sixth) and Class IX (ninth) in 33 Sainik Schools across the country.
सैनिक स्कूल मध्ये प्रवेश मिळविण्यासाठी ऑनलाईन अर्ज करण्यासाठी नोटीफिकेशन निघाले आहे. देशभरातली 33 सैनिक स्कूल्समध्ये वर्ग VI (सहावी) व वर्ग IX (नववी) मध्ये प्रवेश देण्यासाठी परीक्षा घेतले जाते.
(AISSEE All India Sainik School Entrance Examination) is an autonomous, self-governing body established by the Government of India as an agency of the National Examinations Establishment Act (NA- National Testing Agency).
(AISSEE अखिल भारतीय सैनिक स्कूल प्रवेश परीक्षा) ही राष्ट्रीय परीक्षा घेण्यासाठी एजंसी म्हणून (एनटीए- National Testing Agency) ची स्थापना शिक्षण मंत्रालय, भारत सरकारद्वारे एक स्वायत्त, आत्मनिर्भर प्रमुख संस्था म्हणून करण्यात आली आहे.
NTA conducts AISSEE for admission to Class VI and Class IX in 33 Sainik Schools across the country every academic session.
एनटीए, देशभरातील 33 सैनिक स्कूल्समध्ये वर्ग VI (सहावी) व वर्ग IX (नववी) मध्ये, प्रत्येक शैक्षणिक सत्र मध्ये प्रवेशाकरिता एआयएसएसईई चे संचालन करते.
Sainik School is an English medium, residential school affiliated to the Central Board of Secondary Education.
सैनिक स्कूल केंद्रीय माध्यमिक शिक्षण बोर्डासोबत संलग्न इंग्रजी माध्यम, निवासी विद्यालय आहे.
This school prepares cadets (military students) to join the National Defence Academy, Indian Naval Academy as well as other training academies as officers.
हे विद्यालय राष्ट्रीय संरक्षण अकॅडमी, भारतीय नौसेना अकॅडमी तसेच इतर प्रशिक्षण अकॅडमीमध्ये अधिकारी म्हणून सामील होण्यासाठी कॅडेट्सना (सैन्य विद्यार्थी) तयार करते.

1) Online submission of Application form – 10th October, 2025 to 30th October, 2025
(Upto 5.00 PM)
2) Last date of successful transaction of Fee – 31.10.2025 (Upto 11:50 PM)
Examination Fees :
The Fee for AISSEE-2026 is as follows :
1) General/OBC(NCL)/Wards of Defence Ex – service man: Rs.850
2) SC / ST : Rs. 700
Time:
Exam for admission to Class VI:150 minutes
Exam for admission to Class IX:180 minutes.
Mode of Exam –
Pen & Paper (OMR Sheet based) – MCQ Type
Important:
Candidates must ensure that e-mail address and mobile number provided in the online application form are their own or that of their parents, as all information/ communication will be sent by NTA through e-mail on the given e-mail address or SMS on given mobile number only.
Documents needed to fill the form:
1) Scanned images of Candidate’s Photograph (file size: 10kb-200 kb) in JPG format.
2) Candidate’s Signature (file size: 4kb-30kb) in JPG format.
3) Candidate’s left-hand thumb impression. (file size 10 kb -50 kb) in JPG format. (In case of any eventuality of left thumb being unavailable, right hand thumb impression may be used).
4) Date of Birth Certificate issued by the Competent Authority.
5) Domicile Certificate.
6) Caste/Community/ Category Certificate (if applicable).
7) Certificate of service (for Defence category-serving) and PPO for Ex- servicemen, if applicable.
8) Only for students studying in New Sainik School:
Certificate from the Principal certifying that the applicant is studying in the approved New Sainik School. (Applicable only for those who are studying currently in approved New Sainik Schools).

Candidates are advised to keep the application number and password generated during registration confidential and use them to view registration data and download admit card, results etc.

परीक्षा शुल्काचा भरणा डेबिट/क्रेडिट कार्ड किंवा इंटरनेट बैंकिंग किंवा पेटीएम वॉलेटचा उपयोग करून पेमेंट गेटवेच्या माध्यमातून करता येईल.
Admission Process-
AISSAC 2026 द्वारे केलेले सैनिक शाळा प्रवेश तात्पुरते आहे आणि संबंधित शाळेतील विद्यार्थ्यांची वैद्यकीय-सह-शारीरिक पडताळणी पूर्ण झाल्यानंतरच अंतिम मानले जाईल.
Students will have to produce the required documents during the admission process for verification purposes. The authorities have instructed parents to apply for the transfer certificate (TC) from the parent school only after the verification of documents and confirmation of admission.

| 1) Duly signed checklist with undertaking. 2) Medical fitness report. 3) Study certificate duly signed by principal for Class 6, 9 school. 4) Certificate of service signed by CO/OC of unit for defence category- serving) and PPO for ex-servicemen. 5) Income certificate and category certificate. 6) Provisional admission letter. 7) AISSEE admit card and score card. 8) Photo identity proof of students and parents. 9) Domicile or residence certificate. 10) Date of birth certificate. 11) Two passport size photographs. |
