The Ministry of Education, Government of India has established the National Testing Agency (NTA) as an independent, autonomous, and self-sustained premier testing organization for conducting efficient, transparent, and international standardized tests.
भारत सरकारच्या शिक्षण मंत्रालयाने कार्यक्षम, पारदर्शक आणि आंतरराष्ट्रीय प्रमाणित चाचण्या आयोजित करण्यासाठी राष्ट्रीय चाचणी संस्था (NTA) ची स्थापना एक स्वतंत्र, स्वायत्त आणि स्वयंपूर्ण प्रमुख चाचणी संस्था म्हणून केली आहे.
NTA organizes Joint Entrance Examination every year. There are two JEE – Main exams. Students can appear in both and the best of the two has been considered his actual score. The all-India rank is decided by the process of calculating the percentile of each candidate. If students get more than cut off percentile marks, they are qualified for JEE Advanced exam.
एनटीए दरवर्षी संयुक्त प्रवेश परीक्षा आयोजित करते. दोन जेईई – मुख्य परीक्षा असतात. विद्यार्थी दोन्ही परीक्षा देऊ शकतात आणि दोघांपैकी सर्वोत्तम हा त्याचा प्रत्यक्ष गुण मानला जातो. प्रत्येक उमेदवाराच्या टक्केवारीची गणना करण्याच्या प्रक्रियेद्वारे अखिल भारतीय रँक निश्चित केला जातो. जर विद्यार्थ्यांना कट ऑफ टक्केवारीपेक्षा जास्त गुण मिळाले तर ते JEE Advanced परीक्षेसाठी पात्र ठरतात.

Exam Details-
JEE (Main) comprises of two papers. Paper 1 (B.E./B. Tech.) is conducted for admission to Undergraduate Engineering Programs (B.E/B. Tech) at NITs, IIITs, other Centrally Funded Technical Institutions (CFTIs), Institutions/Universities funded/recognized by participating State Governments.
जेईई (मुख्य) मध्ये दोन पेपर असतात. NITs, IIITs, इतर केंद्रीय अनुदानित तांत्रिक संस्था (CFTIs), संस्था/विद्यापीठे ज्यांना सहभागी राज्य सरकारांकडून अर्थसहाय्य/मान्यता प्राप्त आहे, येथे अंडरग्रेजुएट इंजिनिअरिंग प्रोग्राम्स (B.E/B. Tech) मध्ये प्रवेश घेण्यासाठी पेपर 1 (B.E./B. Tech.) आयोजित केला जातो.
Paper 2 of JEE (Main) is conducted for admission to B. Arch and B. Planning courses in the Country.
जेईई (मुख्य) चा पेपर 2 हा देशातील बी. आर्क आणि बी. प्लॅनिंग अभ्यासक्रमांच्या प्रवेशासाठी घेतला जातो.
It is also an eligibility test for JEE (Advanced), which is conducted for admission to IITs.
ही JEE (Advanced) साठी देखील पात्रता परीक्षा आहे, जी IIT मध्ये प्रवेश घेण्यासाठी घेतली जाते.
Exam Sessions-
The National Testing Agency will be conducting the Joint Entrance Examination (Main) -2026 in CBT (Computer Based Test) Mode in two sessions (January 2026 and April 2026).
राष्ट्रीय चाचणी संस्था संयुक्त प्रवेश परीक्षा (मुख्य) -२०२६ ही दोन सत्रांमध्ये (जानेवारी २०२६ आणि एप्रिल २०२६) सीबीटी (संगणकावर परीक्षा) पद्धतीने आयोजित करेल.
The online application form for Session-I will be made live on the website (https://jeemain.nta.nic.in/) in October 2025.
सत्र-१ साठी ऑनलाइन अर्ज फॉर्म ऑक्टोबर २०२५ मध्ये (https://jeemain.nta.nic.in/) वेबसाइट वर उपलब्ध केला जाईल.
