| Documents verification and confirmation of Application Form for Admission by online mode. By Maharashtra State/All India Candidates shall fill online application form and upload the required documents from any computer connected to internet from anywhere. Process for E-Scrutiny Mode selected candidates: 1. Such candidate shall fill online application form and scan original document and upload the required documents from any computer/smartphone connected to internet from anywhere. 2. Such candidate need not have to visit to FC for verification and confirmation of the application form. His/her application & documents shall be verified and confirmed by the FC through e-Scrutiny Mode. 3. During e-Scrutiny of Application Form of such candidate: • If no error is found: the status of verification & confirmation of the application form shall be available in candidates Login along with receipt cum Acknowledgement. • If error is found: the details of errors shall be intimated to candidates by reverting back his/her Application for its rectification through candidates Login. • Candidate shall edit the reverted Application form and re-submit the application for e-Scrutiny through his/her login. Two Attempts for MHT CET Engineering Exam
The Maharashtra State CET exam will be conducted twice a year from 2026 onwards, announced by the Commissioner of MHT CET Cell. The first attempt will be conducted in April and the second in May. The exact MHT CET 2026 exam date for both sessions are now available. MHT CET 2026 notification with all exam details are released now on the website cetcell.mahacet.org.

The Maharashtra State Common Entrance Test is going to be released the MHT CET Hall Ticket 2026 on 7 April 2026 for PCM and PCB group candidates.
Students who have applied for the Maharashtra Common Entrance Test 2026 can now download their CET exam hall ticket from the official website. The exam city information and date of exam are already available in Students login.

1) The MHT CET 2026 city intimation slip is expected to be released in March 2026, roughly 10 days before the exam.
एमएचटी सीईटी २०२६ ची शहर सूचना स्लिप मार्च २०२६ मध्ये, म्हणजेच परीक्षेच्या अंदाजे १० दिवस आधी, प्रसिद्ध होण्याची शक्यता आहे.
2) The MHT CET 2026 admit card (Hall Ticket) will be released 3 to 4 days before the exam, as per the latest notice.
नवीनतम सूचनेनुसार, एमएचटी सीईटी २०२६ चे प्रवेशपत्र (हॉल तिकीट) परीक्षेच्या ३ ते ४ दिवस आधी प्रसिद्ध केले जाईल.
3) The date of the MHT CET admit card 2026 will be released on the official website, cetcell.mahacet.org.

4) Candidates will need their registered email ID and password to download the MHT CET 2026 admit card online.

5) The MHT CET hall ticket will include candidates’ details, exam centre information, exam day guidelines, exam date and time, and exam guidelines.
एमएचटी सीईटी प्रवेशपत्रामध्ये उमेदवारांचा तपशील, परीक्षा केंद्राची माहिती, परीक्षेच्या दिवसासाठी मार्गदर्शक सूचना, परीक्षेची तारीख आणि वेळ, आणि परीक्षेसंबंधी मार्गदर्शक सूचना यांचा समावेश असेल.
6) Examinees appearing for the MHT CET exam need to carry a physical copy of the hall ticket and valid ID proof to the test centre.

Exam Pattern
The questions will be based on Syllabus of State Council Of Educational Research And Training, Maharashtra.
Approximately 20% weightage will be given to Std. XI curriculum and 80% weightage will be given to Std.XII curriculum while setting the question paper. Paper 1 and 2 are compulsory for taking admission to Engineering.
There will be no Negative Marking, however difficulty level will be at par with the JEE (Main) for Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry and difficulty level for Biology will be at par with NEET. The questions will be mainly application based.
MHT-CET will consist of 3 question papers of Multiple Choice Questions (MCQ) and each paper will be of 100 marks. Details are as given below :
